Savvy Savers: How to Get Control of Your Money and Build Your Savings

Apr 14, 2021 · Leave a Comment

If you’re looking to get control of your money, build your savings, and finally feel peace and security from looking at your bank account, Savvy Savers is just what you need.

When you’re living paycheck to paycheck, it just feels like there’s never enough money.

Maybe you’re not even sure where the money goes every month. You know it’s coming in, but at the end it just seems like it disappears as quick as it came in.

Savvy Savers is a membership community for women who want to get control of their finances through building a budget based on their priorities. When you follow the Savvy Saver System inside of Savvy Savers, you’ll have a clear path forward to reach your savings goals and get the support you need along the way.

What is the Savvy Saver System?

The Savvy Saver System is the three step process you’ll work through inside Savvy Savers (my paid mentorship community).

Here’s how it works:

  1. Set Your Savings Goal
  2. Build Your Budget
  3. Automate With Ease

Step 1: Set Your Savings Goal

First things first, before you can reach your savings goals, you need to define your savings goals. Inside the Savvy Saver System, you’ll decide what goal you want to work towards first.

Maybe you want to go on a cash-paid vacation with your family, and that’s your savings goal.

Maybe you want to finally replace the floors in your house.

OR maybe you just want to find a way to build in a buffer to your monthly money situation so you can save for retirement, for an emergency, or for your kid’s future college savings.

Whatever your goal is, you’ve GOT to define it.

This is kind of like your “why”.

Without this “why”....without a clearly defined goal, it will be a whole lot harder to stick with your plan and make progress towards it.

Step 2: Build Your Priorities Based Budget

Once you’ve decided what you’re working towards, we take some time to dig into your priorities and figure out what you actually want.

Because if you’re following a budget that’s based on someone else’s priorities, it’s never going to work long term.

  1. You’ll likely feel super restricted from your budget
  2. You’ll struggle to stick with it long term
  3. You may decide that budgeting just “doesn’t work” for you

And that’s not what we want at all!

In order to build a priorities based budget, you need to figure out what your priorities are (which I help you with) and then create a budget that gets you to your savings goal AND aligns with your priorities.

I’ve got videos, spreadsheets, and worksheets to walk you through this process every step of the way.

Step 3: Automate with Ease

In step #3, we talk about a bunch of different ways to automate your finances.

Because the last thing we want is to have to think about money and your bank account balance every minute of every day.

We want this to be happening in the background. We want it to be EASY...amiright?

FAQ

How do I know if this is right for me?

Well in order to figure that out, you’ve GOT to watch the Masterclass here. You’ll get all the details about what’s included in just about 30 minutes.

After you’ve watched the Masterclass, if you’re still on the fence...here are some questions for you...

  • Do you have goals to save more money, pay off debt, or get ahead financially without a solid plan for how to get there?
  • Have you tried budgeting in the past but haven’t been able to create a budget you can actually stick to?
  • Are you tired of feeling like there’s just not enough money coming in (even though it feels like there should be enough?)

If your answer to these questions was…”heck yes Megan” then I think Savvy Savers can get you where you want to go.

If I join, do I have to share my personal financial numbers with you or the group?

I understand that your finances are private. And I would NEVER ask you to share anything that you aren’t comfortable with. So, no. You absolutely don’t need to share details about your financial situation with me or the group.

In some situations if you ask a question without specifics, I’ll only be able to provide a more general answer. I’ll do my absolute best to make sure your question gets answered and you get clarity to move forward. But we can easily work through a similar situation with made-up numbers.

What kind of resources are available inside Savvy Savers?

Inside Savvy Savers you’ll find the Savvy Saver System (which we talked about earlier). Inside of each module there’s spreadsheets, worksheets, and even journal prompts to get you through the content fast.

In addition to the Savvy Saver System, you’ll get daily access to me and the rest of the group inside the Facebook Group, my resources bundle, and my HUGE bonus - the $6K Saving Strategy (the ultimate guide to saving an extra $500/month on everyday expenses).
